I had a really good weekend at home :). Friday and Saturday I got some things done that were on the list of things to do for a while. Then Sunday my mom came bright and early and we headed out to Chelsea's Beech Middle School for the Annual Spinners Flock Fiber Fair. I know that I totally have too much on my plate already but what's one more fiber addiction to add to the pile. I will totally include pictures of the meager stash enhancement that took place later, but I have yet to take pictures of said enhancement and so that will have to wait. Instead I leave you with a picture of the wine bottle cozy that I made for a friend's wedding shower this weekend. It's kind of my own cobbled together design using a yarn from Joann's that I can't remember the name of right now... It's a nylon and wool blend with sparkly bits. I used the lace chart from Serrano, which was in the Fall edition of Knitty. I like how it turned out and I have another ball of the yarn so maybe I'll work on some *gasp* x-mas presents out of it. I have to go to class now but remember, ARRRRRR, It do be Talk Like A Pirate Day!
